Festival of Music and Vocal Art

In the heart of the Minervois, between the Cité of Carcassonne and Minerve, a natural theatre created by the apse of the medieval Abbey of Caunes provides the perfect setting for the seventeenth edition of the Vendredis Classiques, organised by the association Développement Culturel en Minervois (DCM).

Edition 2018

The 18th edition of the Classic Fridays: from June to September. An agenda that allows to participate in the influence of cultural actions in the town of Caunes: in June as part of the "Week of Marbles", in September on the occasion of the "European Heritage Days". It is also an opportunity to increase awareness of young audiences while maintaining the quality of programs and the promotion of young artists.

FIRST TIME : 4th & 8th JUNE

 
The intervention of lyrical singers in the classes of the Caunes primary school combines music and sculpture as part of "La Semaine des Marbres". June 8th at 9pm at the abbey's vault, site favored by Les Marbrières de Caunes for the "Sculptures en direct" symposium, opening concert of the 2018 Classic Fridays season.

THE SUMMER FESTIVAL : 3 CONCERTS 27 JULY, 3 & 10 AUGUST

for the restoration and tasting of wine.
